The Beta Club sponsored the annual food drive Nov. 10-14 and surpassed its goal. The total school district aimed to collect 5500 items and finished with 5602. These goods will serve approximately 45 families this holiday season.
The breakdown by campus was 3556 items at the high school, 407 items at middle school, and 1639 items at elementary.
As a reward to the students, Mr. Caleb Tindel, HS principal, will be kissing a pig. Elementary principal Mrs. Sherwood will dress up as a clown for the day, and Superintendent Todd Morrison will squeeze into a cross country uniform and run a lap around the school for all to see.
