The Honey Grove High School Beta Club had a very successful weekend at the state convention, which was held Feb. 1-2 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine.

VPsJunior Jake Caffee was elected State Beta Vice-President for the 2019-2020 school year. This is Honey Grove’s third consecutive year to hold this state office: Senior Aaron Nelson held the office in 2017-18, and Junior Hayden Stroud is the current vice-president.

Jake is Honey Grove’s 16th state officer overall. He campaigned with a State Farm-themed skit and slogan: “Like a Good Beta, Jake Caffee Will Be There.” Jake will run for the national office in June at the national convention in Oklahoma City.
